Hello! I am Christine Fuja, a marriage and family therapy intern at High Point Counseling. I obtained my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Western Governors University and I have worked in a teaching capacity with children of various ages and backgrounds for over 10 years, most recently with Sweetwater County School District Number One. Currently, I am pursuing a master's degree in couple and family therapy at Capella University. Along with many life experiences, I am committed to expanding my knowledge and developing my therapeutic skills. My approach emphasizes empathy, active listening, empowerment, and collaboration to support growth in relationships and the family's overall well-being.
When I am not working or doing school work, I like spending time with my husband and children. We enjoy traveling and hanging out with family and friends. I am originally from the west coast, but have lived many years in the mountain west region of the country and love it. I also enjoy music, photography, hiking, kayaking, the autumn season, and spending holidays with family.
I have a passion for helping individuals, couples, and families navigate through challenges in their lives to achieve a sense of balance and well-being. I enjoy working with people of all ages and believe that every person has a potential to thrive. I look forward to supporting you and your family in growing through life's changes and challenges.
