Cara has been working in the medical healthcare field for 10 years. She is now joining our team offering Telehealth services to help you on your journey to mental health wellness with medical support.

All psychiatric medications at High Point Counseling are prescribed by our licensed psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioner.
Psychiatric medications can be an important component of treatment for many individuals with mental health conditions. Our invested and caring nurse practitioner provides a safe, honest and open dialog about your mental health needs and works closely with you to determine the best treatment plan for your specific needs.
How do I get referred for psychiatric services at High Point Counseling?
Cara Hollingsworth, PMHNP receives referrals from a variety of referral sources.

Medical professionals
Other mental health professionals to aid in diagnostic clarification and treatment planning.
Self-referral – for a variety of mental health issues (e.g., ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar, mood disorders, etc.)
