Hi there! I'm Carey Larson, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and the proud founder of High Point Counseling, which I started back in 2016. Over the years, our practice has blossomed into a wonderful team dedicated to helping people in a variety of ways. My greatest passion is working with individuals, couples, and families to help them find healing and meaningful connections in their lives and relationships.

I grew up on a small farm in Northern Utah and attended Utah State University, where I earned my BA in Communications and my Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. My background has given me a strong foundation in understanding and connecting with people from all walks of life.

I have specialized training in several therapeutic approaches, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy), Gottman Therapy, and IFS (Internal Family Systems). My focus on trauma work allows me to use evidence-based therapies to help clients find relief and healing.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my wife and our two children. We enjoy boating and visiting the gorge, where I get a thrill out of riding my Air Chair – it feels like flying, which is just amazing!
