Hello, I am Sabrina Finstad, and I am a licensed professional counselor at High Point Counseling. Currently, through High Point Counseling I provide individual therapy, family therapy, and couple's therapy. 

I received my master’s degree in Licensed Professional Counseling at Grand Canyon University. I also obtained a bachelor's degree in psychology from Grand Canyon University. I obtained my associate in communication from Western Wyoming Community College. I am a Green River High School graduate. Go Wolves!

I was born and raised in Sweetwater County. I have three amazing children. I enjoy spending time with my children, being outdoors, spending time with friends and volunteering within our local community. My favorite volunteering experience is Music for Vets. My family founded the American Legion Tom Whitmore Post 28 in Green River, Wyoming so I have a special place in my heart for Veterans. 

I have facilitated adolescent girls' and boys' therapeutic groups, intensive family-based therapy groups, dialectical behavioral therapy groups, intensive outpatient groups and orientation groups. I have also facilitated a therapeutic summer program for 15-20 kids. I have provided play therapy services at Headstart. 

As a Counselor, it is my hope to help individuals navigate a better sense of self through positive choices within their own lives to help them feel valued. I help clients explore and learn from their own experiences and help them develop being open and honest while advocating for themselves.

I bring the experiences as a parent, sibling, friend, and a professional to help clients be motivated and successful in their healing. There is healing from each and every traumatic and stressful life experience.
